In the Tax Advisory Firms Ranking 2017, prepared by the Rzeczpospolita daily Crido Taxand Partners were listed among the top advisors, being mentioned in the category of transfer pricing, tax disputes and VAT. Furthermore, the company received two awards: one for an innovative solution and one for winning a high-profile CIT-related dispute.

This is now the third award for Ewelina Stamblewska-Urbaniak in 2017, in the category of transfer pricing, and one more awarded by Rzeczpospolita. This year, the ranking´s jury also recognised her team´s achievements in creating a Verifier of TP Obligations, for which CRIDO was given an award in the category of “Innovative Solution of the Year”.

Andrzej Puncewicz was named the best advisor in tax disputes for the second consecutive year. Organisers of the ranking also recognised his team for obtaining over PLN 300 million in excess payments for a group of American investment funds, giving him an honour in the category of “Winning CIT- related court proceedings”.

Roman Namysłowski, who has been recognised by numerous juries for his achievements in indirect taxes, was named “The Best VAT Advisor”. He stressed in his comments to Rzeczpospolita – Both entrepreneurs and tax advisors have to operate in times, where tax-related changes are very dynamic and which are incomparable to any other period, even during the time when Poland joined the European Union [..]. Controls relating to areas that were not a reason for fear for tax payers until now. Fighting VAT- fraud.

The dynamic growth of CRIDO  was also reflected in a list of the largest companies, ranked by their revenues, where CRIDO moved up to the sixth spot, increasing its revenues by nearly 30% compared to last year.

The latest distinctions given by Rzeczpospolita and other awards we received this year including ‘Poland Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year’, confirm our competences and strong position in the tax advisory market. The Crido team currently comprises over 200 people. This enables us to be a viable alternative to the largest auditing and advisory companies. This is especially important in the context of the latest separation of audit and advisory services. We are happy that the ranking jury has recognised our efforts and innovative solutions, that enable entrepreneurs to operate better in the changing tax environment and respond to new fiscal-related challenges in an effective way – Andrzej Puncewicz, CRIDO Partner concludes.
