In this year’s Poland’s Biggest and Best Tax Consultancy Firms ranking published by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, first launched 16 years ago, CRIDO has taken top spots in the following categories:

Second place awarded in the tax projects category is a mark of recognition for work done on tax projects by tax teams and entered in the Ranking: multilevel support in a tax dispute for Poland’s biggest re-exporter of new vehicles, comprehensive support for a strategic cross-border project involving transition to new energy sources, and many months of providing ongoing advice on one of the five biggest transactions of 2021 in Poland worth 4 bn PLN. In the tax disputes category, CRIDO has been awarded for winning court cases concerning: tax authorities’ challenge to the amount of tax paid on the sale of an internet platform, date of effective service of a decision on longer VAT repayment period in electronic form, imposition of VAT penalties in the absence of loss of tax revenue to the treasury. Ewelina Stamblewska-Urbaniak, who has year by year taken top places in the best transfer pricing ranking, has come first again. Joining CRIDO winners this year is also Jan Furtas, who has claimed first place in two categories: tax disputes and local taxes. 2021 was another trying and testing year, full of changes not only in the area of taxation. It was also an opportunity for us to support our clients in unusually complex cases. They represented a testing ground where we could use the knowledge and experience of our award-winning experts and tax teams. We remain grateful for the recognition we have received, both for our employees and as a firm. It attests to the hard work and dedication of our entire team who helps our clients navigate the changes and challenges of today’s business environment and profusion of new legislation. We believe this year will be equally interesting and that our advice and the advising model we have adopted will continue to be appreciated by our clients – says Roman Namysłowski, managing partner heading the tax team at CRIDO.
