Rzeczpospolita, a Polish daily newspaper, has published its ranking of tax advisory firms for the year 2015. Roman Namysłowski was named the best tax adviser in the VAT category, Ewelina Stamblewska-Urbaniak the best tax adviser in the transfer-pricing category and Paweł Toński a recommended CIT adviser.
CRIDO was ranked 7th twice in Rzeczpospolita’s ranking published on June 19, in the classification based on the number of tax advisers (two positions higher than last year) as well as in the income classification.
However, the company’s greatest success was the recognition of two CRIDO partners as the best tax advisers and one partner as a recommended expert in his field.
The award for Roman Namysłowski is a confirmation of the strength of the CRIDO tax team, in particular the Indirect Taxes Team. All the more so that the leader of the CRIDO VAT team was rewarded this year with the two most prestigious awards for tax advisers in his category - first place in the tax advisers' ranking organised by the leading Polish journal dealing with economic and legal issues (Dziennik Gazeta Prawna) and the one organised by Rzeczpospolita. These extraordinary results are confirmed not only by the rankings but also by our clients.
The commendation for Paweł Toński in the corporate income tax category is the result of years of experience and company advising, often connected with complicated projects such as the recent project dealing with mergers and the reorganisation of companies with turnovers exceeding several billion zlotys per year. It is also recognition for Paweł, who contributed to building a strong Real Estate team at Crido Taxand that has been providing advisory services for the biggest transactions on the Polish real estate market.
The unquestioned position of leader in the field of transfer pricing for Ewelina Stamblewska-Urbaniak is a unique distinction both for her and for the TP division for various reasons. Ewelina has managed the TP team at CRIDO for a relatively short time. Within a few months, the transfer pricing team has achieved a lot with respect to both the number of new projects realised and their degree of complexity. Furthermore, transfer pricing is a domain whose role will increase with each passing week because of the changes in the legal environment and the change in the approach of the Ministry of Finance. Ewelina is the only leader in the tax advisers' ranking in the domain of transfer pricing who can surely help economic entities prepare properly for those changes.
