CRIDO enters the New Year with 21 partners on board

CRIDO’S 19 partners will be joined by Jan Furtas and Łukasz Kościjańczuk in January 2021. The joiners have been internally promoted to partners from the position of senior manager, which goes to show that unrelenting commitment in client matters and client building relations as well as self- and business development are highly valued at CRIDO.

9 people in tax, legal and business advisory teams were promoted to managerial positions. In total, 54 managers supported by consultants have been working for CRIDO clients since the beginning of this year.

 Jan, who is now a partner in the tax team, will share the responsibility for developing our tax dispute resolution practice, assisting clients in joining cooperation agreements and advising on real estate tax issues.

Lukasz has a long track record of developing CRIDO’s business innovation consultancy, in particular in securing financing for R&D and investment projects for our clients in the life science sector. As partner in our Business and Innovation team, Lukasz will continue to develop this practice and will be responsible for strengthening CRIDO’s position in life science-related sectors such as biotechnology.

 Jan Furtas is a partner in CRIDO’s tax team. His specialization includes dispute management at the level of tax authorities and courts. In particular, he advises clients in tax enquiries, tax investigations, and tax proceedings and represents them in disputes in administrative courts. He has extensive experience in handling disputes involving VAT fraud and due diligence and related areas such as: charges on property, tax debt enforcement, negotiations with banks and public relations. Jan also specializes in cooperative compliance, preparing large organisations for joining the Cooperation Programme. His area of expertise covers also real estate tax, where he is involved in both assisting clients and cooperating with the public sector.

Jan is a tax expert for the Business Centre Club in the field of tax dispute resolution and real estate tax issues. He has been actively involved in putting the final touches to the Ministry of Finance Cooperation Programme project.

Łukasz Kościjańczuk is a partner in CRIDO’s Business and Innovation team. He specializes in issues concerning innovation, in particular in securing financing in the form of grants and tax reliefs for R&D and investment projects. He cooperates with Polish and international companies in selecting and optimizing projects, shaping their innovation strategies and developing research agendas. He took part in or led projects worth a total of PLN 1 billion in secured financing. The core group of his clients are companies operating in life science sector.

Łukasz has coauthored numerous articles, reports and two books on public financing “EU loan financing for urban development – JESSICA initiative” and “EU funds 2014-2020. New perspective – new opportunities”. Lukasz has been working for CRIDO since 2009.
