On 23rd of November 2021 the so-called Polish New Deal Package was published in the official journal. The accepted changes will influence as of 1 January 2022 the effective taxation of employees and self-employed and may lead to higher pressure to increase the wages (estimated increase of public burden for employees and self-employed by up to 6%-8%). New law will also impact companies which may be subject to new “tax on revenues” and provisions impacting payments within the group.

Save the date: on 30th of November 2021, 4 pm – 5 pm CET. Experts from CRIDO will share their thoughts on how to manage the tax agenda for the upcoming 2022.

Discussed topics will include:

  • The most significant changes with respect to employees and self-employed and key options to maintain the 2022 tax effectiveness
  • 10% “tax on revenues” – the “in-scope” companies, possible exclusions and potential impact
  • Intra-group transactions – new rules targeting the taxation of group payments: Withholding tax "Pay and Refund" mechanism, tax on “shifted profits”, debt financing limitations and “hidden dividend” distributions
  • Where to seek for tax savings?
