Urszula Uchmańska

Urszula is a licensed tax adviser at Crido's tax credits team. Before she joined Crido, Urszula gained tax advisory experience working for one of the Big Four comapnies, where she was responsible for advising financial sector clients (banks, insurance companies, investment funds etc.). Many of her clients were listed companies. She advised both Polish and foreign clients. Her main area of expertise is income taxes, with a focus on tax credits matters (such as the R&D tax credit or IP Box). Urszula is also experienced in dealing with taxation of international transactions, as well as the FATCA and CRS regulations. Her experience in these areas includes tax reviews, day-to-day tax advice, tax overpayment procedures, applications for tax rulings (as well as court proceedings based on appeals against such rulings). Urszula has a degree in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw, and a degree in finance and accounting from Kozminski University in Warsaw. She has also completed a short MBA course at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is in the process of obtaining an ACCA certification.
