Michał Janowicz

Michał specializes in issues related to benchmarking analyses in transfer pricing. He has extensive experience in the field of statistical analysis of financial data and specialized databases. He has conducted dozens of trainings regarding selection of appropriate methods and benchmarking data, statistical methods of analyses and interpretation of the results. In 2018-2019, he was the chairman of the Working Group regarding issues related to benchmarking analyses and TPR within Transfer Pricing Forum created by the Polish Ministry of Finance.​​ He started his professional career in 2009 in one of the Polish business intelligence company, where he was essentially responsible for creation and development of specialized analytical & database tools for benchmarking of transfer prices. In 2015-2016, he was a leader of a team responsible for preparing complete benchmarking analyses for transfer pricing documentation. He has already prepared several hundred benchmarking analyses for goods and service transactions, mainly based on external comparables. Since January 2017 he has been a member of a transfer pricing team in the Tax Advisory Services department in Crido Taxand.​​ Michał is a graduate of SGH Warsaw School of Economics and a graduate of Postgraduate Studies in International Tax Strategies at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He is also the author of two chapters on benchmarking analysis in the publication entitled "Transfer pricing tax documentation" (ISBN: 978-83-7804-328-7) and a lecturer at the Postgraduate Studies in Transfer Pricing and Tax Management at SGH Warsaw School of Economics.​
