Jan Furtas

Jan Furtas is a partner in CRIDO’s tax team. His specialization includes dispute management at the level of tax authorities and courts. In particular, he advises clients in tax enquiries, tax investigations, and tax proceedings and represents them in disputes in administrative courts. He has extensive experience in handling disputes involving VAT fraud and due diligence and related areas such as: charges on property, tax debt enforcement, negotiations with banks and public relations. Jan also specializes in cooperative compliance, preparing large organisations for joining the Cooperation Programme. His area of expertise covers also real estate tax, where he is involved in both assisting clients and cooperating with the public sector. Jan is a tax expert for the Business Centre Club in the field of tax dispute resolution and real estate tax issues. He has been actively involved in putting the final touches to the Ministry of Finance Cooperation Programme project.
