IP Online Forum: Patents - what are they and what should they be for entrepreneurs?

On behalf of the Crido R&D Team and EEC Ventures, We are honored to invite you to a virtual experiences exchange forum in the field of intellectual property and its importance for entrepreneurs – in particular for Polish start-ups, competing more and more often on international markets. We are organizing our meeting as part of the World Intellectual Property Day celebration. The patronage over our initiative was taken by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland.

The distinguished specialists and guests invited by us will present the role that patents and other types of intellectual property play in today's economy. They will show how patents can become a strategic development tool, why they can significantly increase the chance of obtaining financing and why the patent protection power may be insufficient.

The meeting will be held on April 27, 2021 (Tuesday). The start is scheduled for 10:00 in the morning.

To participate we invite representatives of companies, including start-ups. In particular, staff dealing with intellectual property, development and research processes, and supervision and management processes. Representatives of VC funds, Business Angels and other entities supporting and financing the development of innovations in start-ups will also find valuable content.
