Innovation acceleration

Our brief was to identify new, external product and process solutions, and new business models. As part of our services, we prepared a comprehensive acceleration plan for ideas generated by start-ups, including:

  • identification of the main needs of the company in order to determine interest-specific areas and selection criteria for partners with whom to cooperate
  • benchmarking study for acceleration programmes available on the market and SWOT analysis of two operation models (internal accelerator and cooperation with an external accelerator)
  • support in the programme budgeting process
  • building of the project team,
  • development of a framework schedule and acceleration plan
  • assistance in setting down a programme communication and promotion plan
  • legal support in preparing cooperation agreements between the company and a start-up, taking account of access to the intellectual property rights

Employee innovation

We were tasked with implementing an employee innovation programme to help the employer make the best use of the employees’ intellectual potential. Our services involved creating a fully-fledged internal innovation programme, specifically:

  • identification of the main needs of the company in line with its strategic development guidelines and megatrends prevailing in the sector it operates in
  • review of the potential internal innovation campaigns and selection of those best suited to the company’s needs
  • support in developing a campaign schedule consistent with the available budget
  • implementation of an IT tool to run the innovation campaign online
  • operational support at the level of preparation and implementation of particular innovation campaigns

IP management

We were instructed by the client to analyse the sector’s technological leader’s protection strategy for comparison purposes and develop an action plan for the client. As part of our remit, we performed a benchmarking study of a patent portfolio, analysed the market, the company’s competitors and market trends. Our analysis was the basis for strategic decision making, including: expansion into new geographical markets, expansion into new product markets, acquisition of new technologies, purchase of licences, etc.
