CRIDO has been recognised as the ‘Best tax advisory services firm 2015’ in the ‘Tax projects’ category, and the third ‘Biggest tax advisory services firm’ among large firms in Poland; according to Dziennik Gazeta Prawna’s prestigious ‘Tax Advisors and Firms Ranking’. In addition to the awards for the firm, partners from the CRIDO Tax Advisory Services were also recognised: Ewelina Stamblewska-Urbaniak – first place in the ‘Transfer pricing’ category, and Paweł Toński – second place in the ‘CIT’ category.
This year's awards are the latest in the ten-year history of the firm. The jury recognised the scale and complexity of their projects carried out in 2015:
’CRIDO carried out a unique transaction. [...] The assessment was influenced both by the scale of the tax advisory services related to the transaction, and the very high value of the project in question. CRIDO also completed other important projects. One of them concerned the design and implementation of structures associated with investments in real estate. It enabled taxpayers to significantly increase the efficiency of their business operations. The second project was a suit of advisory services for the largest cities in Poland concerning the effects of the judgement by the CJEU on the Wrocław community.’
The undisputed leader in the ‘Transfer pricing’ category was Ewelina Stamblewska-Urbaniak – leader of the Transfer Pricing Team in Tax Advisory Services at CRIDO; who was recognised by the jury for, among other things, ’the development of a tax strategy in a unique market transaction of significant tax value’ and for ’the preparation of model calculations between related entities, based on the profit distribution method.’ Meanwhile, Paweł Toński – a partner in the Tax Advisory Services at CRIDO, was honoured for his achievements in the field of CIT, which was related to a restructuring that led to a significant increase in cost efficiency for clients.
