What happens when a mature practice enters its next stage of development? At CRIDO, it means a natural succession, new roles, and promotions. As of January 1, 2026, CRIDO introduced significant changes in the leadership of its CIT Team as a result of carefully planned organizational steps.
Paweł Toński has handed over the leadership of CRIDO’s CIT Team after many years of building and strengthening the company’s position in the tax advisory market. This marks the closing of an important chapter in his role as the Team’s leader and one of the architects of its success. At the same time, he remains at CRIDO, taking on a new position as Partner – Real Estate, Strategic Relations and Projects. In this role, Paweł will focus on developing strategic relationships and supporting key projects, particularly for clients from the real estate sector.
Mateusz Stańczyk, a partner at CRIDO who has been with the firm since 2007, has been appointed the new leader of the CIT Team. He has extensive experience in tax advisory services, having successfully developed CRIDO's M&A and restructuring advisory services in recent years. Throughout his career, Mateusz has led hundreds of acquisition processes, developing and implementing international and domestic investment structures for Polish and foreign funds operating in various sectors.
“I am leaving the CIT Team in the excellent hands of Partners who are strongly focused on Client needs. Handing the team over to Mateusz is particularly meaningful to me – when he was a young consultant, I encouraged him to join CRIDO,” comments Paweł Toński.
These changes form part of CRIDO’s broader development strategy, aimed at strengthening the leadership capabilities of the next generation of leaders while ensuring strategic continuity. Mateusz Stańczyk will be supported in leading the CIT Team by:
“I am proud to take on responsibility for the CIT Team at CRIDO. This is a natural continuation of the path that Paweł, our Consultants, and I have been following together for many years. I am taking over a team that is strong in expertise and Client-focused, and that is exactly the direction in which I want to continue developing it,” says Mateusz Stańczyk.
CRIDO’s CIT Team ranks among the top tax advisory practices in Poland. It consists of nearly 40 specialists who support entrepreneurs in areas including ongoing CIT advisory, transactions, due diligence processes, reorganizations, advisory for the real estate sector, tax reviews, and international taxation.
