The minimum salary threshold for Blue Card applicants in Poland in 2025 increases
The average salary in the national economy in 2024 was 8181,72 PLN *
Thus, as every year, it causes a change in the minimum wage threshold for holders/persons who plan to apply for a temporary residence permit and work in a profession requiring high qualifications (the so-called EU Blue Card) in 2025 12272,58 PLN gross** monthly, which is nearly 2000 PLN gross more than the minimum wage for applications submitted in 2024.
Highly qualified employees who have or are just planning to apply for the EU Blue Card must take into account higher financial requirements for this group. |

**The amount of the minimum gross annual salary required to grant the permit in question may not be lower than the equivalent of 150% of the amount of the average salary in the national economy in the year preceding the submission of the application, announced by the President of the Central Statistical Office.
